    Lights on

It would seem to me that one solution for the school board to explore in solving the lighting project shortfall of $30,000 would be as follows:

    1. Find a friendly bank to loan the $30,000 over a reasonable period of time.

    2. Raise the adult ticket price for every athletic event by a reasonable amount that would be used to pay back annually the loan. Only the new amount would be used to accomplish the loan payback as the athletic department would retain the balance.

My guess is too that Friday night football would increase attendance, yielding more revenue to accelerate the payback.
