WARREN — Vermont State Police say an accident on Sugarbush Access Road early Sunday morning was caused by the driver falling asleep.

Ian Chase, 30, of Warren, was driving west when state police say he fell asleep, entered a parking lot and struck a parked vehicle. The vehicle then traveled back across the road, up a hill and rolled over on its side.

Chase was not injured in the crash, but was cited for driving with a suspended license.

He is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court Aug. 1.
