• Woman cited on drug possession

    BERLIN — A Barre woman has been cited on a charge of possession of marijuana, according to police.

    Police say Shayna Smith, 20, was seen driving behind a business on Fisher Road that was closed. Upon speaking with Smith, police said, they discovered she had the drug.

    Smith is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court in mid-June to answer the charge.
