WILLISTON — Officials from Fletcher Allen Health Care say the gift of a 15-acre commercial property in Williston could be used for some nonclinical function of Vermont’s largest hospital.

On Thursday, Fletcher Allen Health Care CEO Dr. John Brumsted announced the gift, along with Burlington philanthropists Bob and Holly Miller.

Brumsted says the gift of Holly Court opens up many opportunities for Fletcher Allen.

The Millers are longtime benefactors of Fletcher Allen.

Over the years they’ve provided leadership gifts that helped establish programs such as the Caring for Nurses Initiative, create the Rural Palliative Care Network and instituted a fellowship for hospice and palliative care for advanced practice nurses.
