• Man denies assault on girlfriend

    NORTHFIELD — A Northfield man has denied charges of aggravated domestic assault and unlawful trespass.

    According to police, Michael S. Bell, 35, refused to leave his girlfriend’s residence in Northfield, pushed her and head butted her in the face Sunday.

    Bell pleaded not guilty Monday in Washington County criminal court in Barre.
