Someone stole a ladder from the side of a truck on South Main Street.
On Eastern Avenue, the windows of a shelter were shot at with a BB gun.
Kids were playing basketball on Second Street at 10 p.m.
On Maple Avenue, someone broke into a vehicle and stole various items including a GPS device.
A husky mix was running around Fairview Street.
Items were stolen from a vehicle on Trow Avenue.
A pit bull being walked by a woman attacked another dog on Foster Street.
A cash register drawer was found behind Dumpsters on Granite Street.
Juveniles were writing on a bridge on Granite Street.
Two kids were locked out of their home on Highgate Drive.
A woman wearing blue shorts and pushing a stroller was “falling down drunk” on Church Street.
A man was walking two Labs in Elmwood Cemetery.
On Hill Street, a neighbor was videotaping a woman.
A boy around 12 or 13 years old was showing his friends a pistol on Auditorium Hill.
Items were stolen from two vehicles on Ossola Place.
On Brook Street, a window was shot out of a man’s van.
Someone damaged a woman’s vehicle with a key on Averill Street.
Neighbors were throwing rocks at a man’s vehicle and going into his garage without permission on Elmore Street.
Someone stole an iPhone on Granite Street.
People were squatting in a basement on Keith Avenue.
Someone found a stray dog on Fourth Street.
An inspection sticker was stolen from a vehicle on Seminary Street.
Four kids, two with butcher knives, all around 6 or 7 years old, were running around a yard on Warren Street.
The following is a sampling of citations Barre police issued in recent days.
On April 16, Orlando J. Morrissette, 27, was cited on charges of domestic assault, unlawful mischief and unlawful trespass. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court May 30 to answer the charges.
On April 19, Scott Sherman, 19, was cited on a charge of sexual assault. He is to appear in Washington County criminal court June 6.
On April 20, Raeline Lynn Sanborn, 29, was cited on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order. She is to appear in Washington County criminal court May 16.
On April 22, Reid James Ennis, 41, was cited on suspicion of driving under the influence.
