    STAFF REPORT

    BARRE — A Granite City man has been cited for stealing a mountain bike Tuesday.

    Christopher Corrigan has been cited for larceny after police say he stole a Trek mountain bike valued at $600 from a residence on College Street.

    Police say the owner of the bike reported it stolen and soon after found it at a thrift shop in Barre. Officers went to the thrift shop, recovered the bike, and after an investigation discovered Corrigan was the one who took the bike.

    Corrigan is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court to answer the charge.
