• Gas prices fall across Vermont

    Vermont gas prices have fallen an average of 5.1 cents a gallon in the last week, averaging $3.60 a gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 626 gas outlets in Vermont.

    The national average fell 5 cents a gallon in the last week to $3.52 a gallon, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

    Prices were 38.8 cents a gallon less than the same day a year ago and 17.2 cents a gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 13.8 cents a gallon during the last month and 37 cents a gallon lower than a year ago.
