These professional services have examined the evidence and determined that same-sex parenting is not harmful for children, and better an adoptive parent than none at all, or in some cases, biological parents who arenít up to the job.
The right of children is to having good parents, and biological origin is not a guarantee of that. Ideological norms should not get in the way of that overriding concern: what is best for the child.
