• East Montpelier to discuss town plan
    April 13,2013

The East Montpelier Select Board will discuss a number of issues at its next meeting, including a proposal from Xerox to digitize the town’s land records and the draft town plan from the Planning Commission. The board will also take up the potential use of the revolving loan fund to help the town’s Senior Living Initiative, and renewing the information technology services contract with rbTech.

Select Board chairman Bruce Johnson also said that there may be a special meeting on April 29 to sign warrants, and the board will attend the town fire department’s quarterly budget presentation on April 18 at 7 p.m. at the new fire station.

The next select board meeting will be May 6; there will likely be a mid-May hearing on the draft town plan.
