• A heartfelt thanks to Barre
    April 10,2013

To our many wonderful friends and family and to the Barre community: We can’t begin to express our appreciation for all the love and support we’ve received while anticipating Liz’s surgery, during her hospitalization and throughout her recovery.

At our open house the weekend before her surgery we were amazed but so happy that so many of you came to see Liz and wish her well. We know the outcome of her surgery and her quick recovery were the result of so many people caring and praying for her. A very heartfelt thank you goes to Cory Laferriere and Alicia Phillips, who hosted a phenomenal benefit at Mulligan’s Irish Pub, raising a significant amount of money to help Liz with medical and living expenses while she needs it during her recovery.

We appreciate so much the time and effort they put into the benefit as well as the generosity of the guests, sponsors and so many who donated items for the silent auction. Thank you also to TJ and Dave from Stone Bullet for the great acoustic show during the event.

Again, the number of friends and family who came was amazing, and we’re humbled to realize just how many of you care. We’re lucky to have so many supportive friends and family members, and we live in a wonderful, generous community. Thank you again to each one of you, from the bottom of our hearts.

Randy, Sue, Matt and Liz Walker
