• Third raccoon in Vermont city tests positive for rabies

    ST. ALBANS — Authorities in the Vermont city of St. Albans say a third raccoon has tested positive for rabies.
    The latest raccoon was caught in the city on Friday.

    The first two raccoons were found and tested March 30-31.

    Police are asking residents if they see a raccoon in the area to please call the police department.
