WATERBURY — Vermont State Police say a driver caused a four-car accident Thursday in Waterbury because he pulled out in front of another vehicle.

State police say Steven Hagenuch, 43, of Waterbury Center, pulled out onto Route 100 and Owen McDermott, 38, of Colchester, did not have enough to stop. State police say McDermott swerved and hit Hagenuch, Victoria Comer, 33, of Waterbury Center, and Susan Sayah, 64, of Waterbury Center.

All four vehicles were damaged in the crash and state police say Comer was taken to Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin for “non-incapacitating injuries.”
