COLCHESTER — Vermont State Police say a mobile home in Colchester has been destroyed by fire.

Police say the fire was reported by a neighbor who saw smoke coming from the home Tuesday morning.

No one was home at the time.

Police say the fire department was able to put out the fire quickly and keep it from damaging other mobile homes nearby.

The exact cause of the blaze has been determined. Police say the fire was not suspicious.

The damage is estimated to be more than $55,000.
