• Police: I-89 driver broke 100 mph

    GEORGIA — Vermont state Police say a driver is facing charges of going more than 100 miles per hour on Interstate 89 in the town of Georgia.

    Police say 23-year-old Travis Bohannon was stopped traveling in the northbound lane on Tuesday night.

    Police say radar showed he was driving in excess of 100 mph.

    Bohannon has been cited to appear in court on the excessive speed charge on April 22.
