HARDWICK — A Vermont police department said an arrest warrant has been issued for a Hardwick bank robbery suspect who is believed to be in Connecticut, where she is also suspected of a number of bank robberies.
Hardwick Police said the warrant for the arrest of 29-year-old Susan Braig was issued Thursday. She has not been taken into custody.
Hardwick Police Chief Aaron Cochran says Braig is suspected of robbing the Union Bank, on Route 15 last Sept. 6.
Cochran said he was contacted by the Connecticut State Police in January. A subsequent investigation led to the issuing of the Vermont arrest warrant.
Cochran said Braig lived for a time in Winooski, but she now lives in Connecticut. He did not know her hometown.MORE IN This Just InBURLINGTON — A woman accused of giving drugs to a woman who overdosed and died and a man who...
