Lucille W. MacLellan Rites

CALAIS — The Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Montpelier for Lucille Willett MacLellan, of Upper Curtis Pond Road. She died March 13, 2013, at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin.

The Rev. Michael Augustinowicz, pastor of the church, was the celebrant and homilist. Deacon Gesualdo Schneider was crucifer and proclaimed from the Old and New Testament. He also read the Gospel lesson and led the Prayer of the Faithful as well as assisted at Communion.

Organist and singer Rosemary Badeau led the congregation in the hymns, “Prayer of St. Francis,” “Amazing Grace,” “Ave Maria” and “Here I Am Lord.”

Fellowship and luncheon followed at the Hilltop Restaurant in Barre Town.

Later interment will be made in the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center.

The Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre, was in charge of the arrangements.
