KILLINGTON — A 36-year-old New York City man is safe after he got lost while skiing out of bounds at Killington ski area.

State police say they were called Thursday afternoon after receiving a report that Timothy J. Brodhagen, of Brooklyn, had intentionally skied off a trail and gotten lost.

Police say the Killington Ski Patrol located, tracked and guided Brodhagen to a road in the town of Mendon. He was not hurt.

Police are urging all skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and snow enthusiasts to stay on marked trails at all times.
