WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — A Vermont man already facing a charge of leaving a crash now faces accusations of sexually assaulting two girls.

Shane Harlow of Quechee pleaded not guilty Wednesday to the aggravated sex assault allegations involving the children, ages 10 and 8. The younger girl’s allegations are from 2008.

The 47-year-old Harlow is being held without bail in Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield.

Last year, Harlow was charged with not stopping when his car struck an already-deceased Dartmouth College student whose body was lying on Interstate 91.

Harlow’s attorney, Liz Kruska, declined to comment after the hearing Wednesday.
