• Waitsfield car theft investigated

    WAITSFIELD — Vermont State Police are looking for information about a stolen vehicle and thefts from several other vehicles in Waitsfield on Tuesday.

    State police say a 2011 Jeep Liberty was taken from a residence on Main Street and later recovered at the Waitsfield town garage with significant damage to it.

    Other vehicles were reported gone through and petty cash and other items reported stolen. The incidents are said to have happened between 3 and 6 a.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 229-9191.
