Montpelier voters invited to meeting
With so many of us living busy lives, it can be very difficult to keep up with the important issues we will be asked to consider on Town Meeting Day. In an effort to help, all residents of Montpelier are invited to a pre-town meeting to be held in the library of Montpelier High School today, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m.
The mayor, city manager and chairwoman of the school board will present their ballot items for discussion and questions. While ballot items cannot be changed, this is an opportunity for residents to better understand key issues facing Montpelier before heading into the voting booth on Town Meeting Day.
Come see a sample ballot and get your questions answered.
