• Man cited for suspended license

    BARRE — Police say a Granite City man is facing a charge of driving with a suspended license.

    Douglas Lynch, 48, was pulled over Monday on Cottage Street for a traffic violation, police said. After a roadside investigation, police determined Lynch has a criminally suspended license. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County criminal court in early March to answer the charge.
