    Is there another role?

In Wednesday’s Times Argus, Publisher R. John Mitchell continues to use the only convicted sex offender on his staff to write a story of a Cabot teen charged with sexual assault on a child. The reporter, Eric Blaisdell, is still on probation for his conviction, yet Mr. Mitchell does not seem to care.

Why doesn’t Mr. Mitchell assign Mr. Blaisdell to cover the Legislature or the environment?

I hope Mr. Mitchell is not using his power to thumb his nose at the courts or victims of child sexual abuse. Joe Paterno failed to do the right thing when it came to child sexual abuse, and we know what happened to his legacy.
