State parks announce contest
MONTPELIER — The Vermont State Parks are holding a contest for a new design for water bottles to be sold at the parks and online.
The design has to measure 3 inches by 3 inches and embrace the personality or feeling of the Vermont State Parks. It can use up to three colors and will need to look good on a variety of bottle materials and colors, including green, blue, plastic and stainless steel.
Graphics should be submitted in high-resolution digital format if possible, and the deadline is Feb. 28. Designs can be emailed to email@example.com or mailed to Vermont State Parks, 81 River St., Montpelier, VT 05602.
Entries will be posted on the state parks Facebook page, and visitors to the page will be able to vote for their favorite designs.
The first-place winner will receive a pass good for free day admission for up to eight people at a time at any state park, all season long. Plus the winner will get a few bottles to share with family and friends.
Second prize will be an individual pass that will get one person into the parks for day use all season, and third prize will be a punch card good for 10 park visits.MORE IN This Just InDORSET — The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation and Green Mountain Power are...
