St. Johnsbury Athenaeums plans bring response
ST. JOHNSBURY — A citizens group has asked the St. Johnsbury Athenaeum board to participate in a public forum Saturday to discuss the reorganization of the library’s staff.
The forum is being held at the North Congregational Church from 1 to 3 p.m.
The group Neighbors in Support of the Athenaeum Staff has asked the board to forestall the dismissal of the library staff and to join with the community at the forum to help the library.
The citizens group said it also sent the board a petition signed by more than 200 people that reflected the community’s concern and distress over the library’s funding issues.MORE IN This Just InBURLINGTON — A woman accused of giving drugs to a woman who overdosed and died and a man who...
