Mary D. Carpenter

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — Mary “Dee” Davis Carpenter, 58, of Clifton Park, N.Y., passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, following a brief illness.

She was born in Montpelier, Vt., to Jean Harmon Carpenter and the late Silas Carpenter.

Dee grew up in Vermont and graduated from Montpelier High School and Dean Junior College.

Dee will be remembered for her love of all things, her creativity and fashion sense.

She had a long career in the fashion industry.

Besides her mother, her beloved husband, Eric F. Peterson, and her sister Virginia “Ginny” Himmelsbach, as well as a large extended family survive Dee.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at DiDonna’s South Shore Restaurant, 113 Route 9P, Malta, N.Y., from 1 to 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
