WEST DANVILLE — Vermont State Police say a Hardwick woman hid from them and ran into traffic in West Danville on Wednesday while they were investigating another incident.

Sheara Bryant, 45, was cited for disorderly conduct.

State police say they located a suspicious vehicle on the side of Route 2 and tracked Bryant with a police dog. State police say she became disorderly and obstructed traffic as she ran from police. She was taken into custody and released after receiving the citation.

Bryant is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County criminal court March 25 to answer the charge.
