Allan O. Gover

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Allan Orrin Gover, 84, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at the VA Medical Center.

He was born April 1, 1928, in Orange County in Vermont, the son of Murel Alton Gover and Reta Rose Freeguard Gover.

Survivors include three sons, Allan Orrin Gover Jr., of Wilmington, and Tony Gover and Charles Keith Gover, both of Fayetteville; three daughters, Donna G. Williams, of Wade, Allana Goodyear, of Fayetteville, and Wendy Upchurch, of Atlanta, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Gover, of New York, and Ronnie Gover, of Vermont; and a sister, Brenda Galway, of Massachusetts.

A funeral Mass will be held Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Arrangements were with Rogers and Breece Funeral Home of Fayetteville.

Friends called Thursday, Jan. 10, at the funeral home.
