ST. JOHNSBURY — A Barre woman crashed her vehicle early Tuesday on Route 2 in St. Johnsbury when she was driving under the influence, according to Vermont State Police.

Chelsea E. Paulin, 23, was cited on a charge of DUI and is to appear in Caledonia County criminal court Jan. 14.

State police said they were called to respond to a vehicle off the road on Route 2 and, after an investigation, determined Paulin had been driving under the influence.
