MONTPELIER — The City Council, which ordinarily meets Wednesdays, will instead meet today at 6:30 p.m. Councilors will continue their discussions on the new city budget and will hear a presentation from the Green Mountain Transit Agency regarding a budget request, among other business.

Also this week, the U-32 school board will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the third draft of its budget, among other business. The meeting will be at the school in East Montpelier.

The Harwood Union High School board will meet at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the high school library to continue its budget talks and discuss a bus barn lease.
