JEFFERSONVILLE — Police say a man who denied any involvement in a Vermont jewelry store burglary was found trying to sell items from the business at a gem dealer two days later.

Police said 20-year-old Michael Ulrich is awaiting arraignment on a burglary charge.

Police said the Ornament Design store in Jeffersonville was broken into last week. It was missing about $6,000 worth of jewelry and silver and gold used for jewelry making.

Ulrich is a suspect in other jewelry thefts.
