Ronald D. Gauld

WEST TOPSHAM— Ronald D. Gauld, 78, of West Topsham, VT, and formerly of Tewksbury, MA, died December 1, 2012, at his home after a short illness surrounded by his family.

Ron was a Korean-era Marine.

He worked in the banking industry in the Boston area for twenty-nine years before he retired to Vermont in 1989.

He was a longtime fan of the New England Patriots and a lover of outdoor activities.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Margaret Louise “Peg” Goetz Gauld of West Topsham, VT; his loving children, Brenda Page and her husband David of Merrimack, N.H., Ronald S. Gauld and his wife Barbara of Milton, MA, and Karen Westover of New Port Ritchie, FL; grandchildren, Michael and Matthew Ferdinand, Ronald J. and Alexander Gauld, Kyle, Ryan and Kara Westover and Christopher, Benjamin and Gregory Page; one brother, James Gauld of Georgia, and one sister, Koreen Mefford of Texas, as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no services or visiting hours. Burial will be held at a later date in the family lot.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Little Rivers Health Care of East Corinth, c/o Administration, Bradford, VT 05033.
