• Vt. family homeless after fire

    GROTON — A Groton family is homeless after an early morning fire.

    Fire crews responded to the fire at the mobile home around 3 a.m. Tuesday. Officials say the home is a total loss.

    The Red Cross is helping the family of six by providing temporary lodging and financial assistance.
