    Man flees after rolling car

BRAINTREE — Vermont State Police say a Northfield man fled after rolling his car on Route 12A in Braintree on Nov. 17.

Joshua Gerdes, 17, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident. He is scheduled to appear in Orange County criminal court on Jan. 9 to answer the charge.

State police say they received numerous calls about a rollover in Braintree around 1:15 a.m. Troopers located the 2005 Subaru Impreza, but state police say the operator was no where to be found.

After an investigation, state police say they discovered Gerdes had been driving the Subaru.
