WEBSTERVILLE — Rejeanne L. Baril, 85, of Bolster Road, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family
Born in Ste. Cyrill, Quebec, on Dec. 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lea (Dion) Lupien. Rejeanne attended schools in Canada. In 1950, she moved to Barre where she was employed at the former Sprague Electric in Barre. She later was employed at the Barre Town School in the cafeteria department, and her last employment was at Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin as a dietician, retiring in 1988.
On June 11, 1954, she married E. Paul Baril in St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre. They made their home in the Barre area before moving to Websterville in 1966.
Rejeanne enjoyed camping, fishing and family gatherings but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very family-oriented.
Her memberships include St. Sylvester Catholic Church in Graniteville and was a former member of St. Monica Catholic Church; the Ladies of Ste. Anne Society and the Ste. Jean Society of Barre.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years of marriage, E. Paul Baril, of Websterville; two daughters, Claire Baril, of Websterville, Denise Newton and her husband, Stephen, of Marshfield; two sons, Donald Baril and his companion, Jackie, of Saratoga, N.Y., and Dennis Baril and his wife, Monique, of Barre Town. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by three sisters, Florette Constant, Simone Grodin and Blanche Biron; and two brothers, Paul Lupien and Edmond Lupien.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at 3 p.m. in St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre. Family and friends may call at the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home in Barre on Friday, Nov. 23, from 12:30 until 2:45 p.m.
Extra parking is available at St. Monica’s parking lot.
A later burial will take place in St. Sylvester Cemetery in Lower Websterville.
