The following is a sampling of calls Barre police responded to in recent days.
A wallet was found on North Main Street.
Dogs were running loose on Fairview Street.
There was a two-car accident on Berlin Street around 3:15 p.m. No injuries were reported.
Two generators and tools were stolen from a shop on Granite Street.
Someone stole medication out of a woman’s apartment on Summer Street.
There was a two-car accident on Prospect Street around 5:30 p.m. No injuries were reported.
On Branch Street, young kids were sitting on a wall and smoking.
Twelve bags of garbage were found in someone’s recycling bin on North Main Street.
On Ayers Street, two teenage boys reportedly vandalized a back porch.
A street sign fell on a man’s vehicle on Depot Square.
Someone used pliers and turned a water spigot on “full blast” on North Main Street.
On South Main Street, a man’s truck was broken into and items were stolen.
A woman’s purse was stolen out of her car on Elm Street.
Copper was stolen from the substation on South Main Street.
Someone stole the emergency light off the top of a vehicle on South Main Street.
Parts were stolen from a vehicle on Eastern Avenue.
On Seminary Street, a man in a wheelchair had his pants around his ankles.
A black Honda was “blowing donuts” by Cumberland Farms on North Main Street.
Someone broke into a vehicle on North Main Street and stole a bright yellow purse.
Three juveniles were running in and out of traffic, pointing a handgun on North Main Street.
On North Main Street, some people showed up at a woman’s residence and threatened her with a handgun.
A large pile of brush was in the road on Washington Street.
On Elm Street, a van was spray-painted.
Someone from Prospect Street was shining a laser into a woman’s dining room on Grant Avenue.
A woman smashed out three windows in her boyfriend’s apartment on Averill Street.
The following is a sampling of citations Barre police issued in recent days.
On Nov. 13, Kevin G. Maillet, 59, was cited on charges of unlawful trespass and resisting arrest. He is to appear in Washington County criminal court Dec. 20 to answer the charges.
On Nov. 16, Barry Veal, 26, was cited for simple assault. He is to appear in Washington County criminal court Dec. 20.MORE IN Central Vermont
