    SHELBURNE — The funeral and service of remembrance for Dario Charles Giannoni, of the Shores at Shelburne Bay and Barre native, businessman and 32nd degree Mason, was held Monday Nov. 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy St., Barre. He died at his residence Nov. 8, 2012.

    The Rev. Ralph Howe, pastor of the Hedding United Methodist Church of Barre, conducted the ceremony and led the congregation in the hymns “We Gather Together,” “Onward Christian Soldiers” and “Amazing Grace.”

    The bearers were grandsons Alexander, Grey and Scott Switzer and nephews Larry Rossi and Paul and Charles Giannoni Jr. Burial was made in the Hope Cemetery where the Rev. Howe read the committal prayers.

    The folded American flag was presented to his daughter, Mary Alice Giannoni, by Bruce W. Judd.

    Fellowship and luncheon followed at the Mutuo Inc where Dario had been a longtime member.
