Thanks for Big Dig efforts
I want to suggest we consider ways to publicly thank the city officials and the contractors involved with the “Big Dig” in Barre. I have personally taken note of considerations that have been made for the community during this process to minimize the inconvenience and dislocations for businesses.
Similar accommodations in other repair and reconstruction areas have not been in evidence and we want it to be known that we appreciate the care and competence that have marked this major undertaking.
Perhaps all of our churches should include in their Thanksgiving season services a hymn of gratitude for improvements sought for and improvements attained. Our thanks for these accomplishments.
