    Big job ahead

Waking up Wednesday, many of us were stunned, betrayed by belief that “our guy” would win. Frozen by false assumptions now indicted by reality. No “margin of error” can cover the spread of this loss. Losing is personal. It is the cost of caring. This seem like a moment for good wishes for our soon to be named next president of these divided states. We need him to succeed in finding that elusive common ground for the greater good in pursuit of a more promising land for all of us. Talk about bad hangover days ahead. Take 10 aspirin a day and cover your assets, Mr. President. These are not prescriptions for change that any us can believe in. My wishes include: That all us accept and respect him as our. That our leads from a centered space that refuses to pay ransom to the 20 percent at either extreme. Ideology erodes acting in good faith. That both Senate leaders step aside in shame for their preference for a failed president over any promise of progress. No more filibusters. Embrace debate. Take the dare of dialogue. Vote. Majority rules.

God’s blessing and good luck, Mr. President. You will need both to lead we the people. Paralysis will not move us forward.
