    BARRE TOWN A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at 11 a.m. in St. Monica Catholic Church in Barre for William F. Barrett, 86, of Wildersburg Common. He died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at the Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin.

    The Rev. Leopold J. Bilodeau, pastor of the church, was the celebrant. Crucifer Lawrence Reilly read Scriptures from the Old and New Testaments and led the Prayer of the Faithful.

    Organists Rosemary Badeau accompanied vocalists Sarah Procopio and Ronald Routhier in the hymns.

    Words of remembrance were read by the Rev. Bilodeau.

    A prayer service was held Monday at the Pruneau-Polli Funeral Home and was led by the Rev. Bilodeau.

    Pallbearers were Real Maurice, Andre Rouleau, Edward Ferrari and Henry Bilodeau.

    After the Mass family and friends gathered at the Hilltop Restaurant for a time of fellowship and luncheon.

    Burial was held Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley, Mass., where the Rev. Mr. John Bledsoe offered committal prayers. The American flag was presented to Helene Barrett, wife of the deceased, by Paul J. Carbonneau.
