    We need Randy Brock

I am a fifth-generation Vermonter, a Vietnam veteran and among many veterans who have joined “Veterans for Brock.”

Randy Brock is my choice to be the next governor of Vermont. Every voter should review his impressive resume. After he graduated from Middlebury College, he served as a decorated captain in Vietnam. He attended Yale University for an advanced degree. His ambition was to start his own business and his first attempt was in a southern state where racism was still evident. When faced with adversity, he remained committed and looked at Vermont to bring his business. Since 1986-plus years, Vermont has been home for him. Determination and hard work lead him to establish a successful business, Champlain Security System, leading to grow to the point he employed over 100 employees.

That led to becoming a consultant for Fidelity Investments and served as vice president for risk oversight for a period of 15 years. He also served as the firm’s general auditor.

He wanted to give back to Vermont and his political service began with the same determination and commitment he has had all his adult life. While in the military, he recognized the need to be a responsible citizen and step up to serve his state as he did his country. That led to his being elected state auditor and now as state senator. His decision to run for governor was made as he saw the direction Governor Schumlin has taken Vermont. Vermonters have an opportunity to elect a governor who cares for hard working, independent Vermonters as we face many challenges. He wants all Vermonters to have choices in their life from job development, active in our children’s education and address the health care system being developed by the Schumlin administration are among many issues. Questions and concerns are not being addressed. Being vague and ambiguous is not what Vermonters want. We want information and treated with respect and honesty. Vermonters need Randy Brock to achieve our goals.
