Buddy is a good and decent person — exactly the type of person we need in Montpelier. He has tremendous compassion and common sense. He is devoted to our state and the communities of Washington County. And, most importantly, he understands the day-to-day challenges our working families face.

Buddy spent his career in Vermont’s granite industry — he works hard. He raised a family here and knows how important it is to have a strong and vibrant economy. That’s why has made growing the economy and creating more and better paying jobs his top priority. And, Buddy believes that employers have to play by the rules, treat their workers fairly and invest in their communities.

He will also work to make health care accessible and affordable, fight to combat drugs, and drug related crime, in Washington County, protect environmental resources and advance policies that make government more efficient and more transparent.

Importantly, Buddy also shares the concern many of us have about the exceedingly partisan Washington-style politics that are taking hold here in Vermont as well as the impacts of having only one political party controls the discussion in Montpelier. He’ll be a voice of reason in Montpelier and will work cooperatively to move Vermont forward.
