ROYALTON — Vermont State Police are looking for a man they say robbed a pharmacy in Royalton on Tuesday.

According to state police, the man walked into the Rite Aid on Route 107 around 12:30 p.m. and handed the pharmacist a note that said he was armed and demanding prescription medication. The pharmacist complied, and the man fled into the woods behind the store.

The suspect is described as a white man in his mid-20s, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a slender build and short brownish hair. He was said to be wearing a blue baseball cap, sunglasses, a dark plaid coat, jeans and brown boots.

A person matching the suspect’s description was seen getting out of a dark sedan at a nearby convenience store just before the incident.

Anyone with information concerning the incident, or anyone who may have seen the suspect walking along Route 107 or the vehicle at the time of the robbery, should contact Vermont State Police at 234-9933.
