Sally Ann Morse Wagner (55), beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 10, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 27, 1956, in Barre City, Vermont, to Robert H. Morse and Gloria E. (Gray) Mitchell.

Sally is survived by her husband Charles Wagner of Morrisville, Vermont; her son Nathan Bartlett of Groton Vermont, her son Brent Bartlett and wife Jennifer of Bradford, Vermont; her son Tom Bartlett and wife Audrey of Ankeny, Iowa; her father Robert Morse and wife Nancy of Plainfield, Vermont, her mother Gloria (Gray) Mitchell and husband Joseph of Berlin, Vermont; her sister Diane (Morse) Konrady and husband Michael of Calais, Vermont; her brother Bruce Morse and wife Shirley of Northfield, Vermont and her seven grandchildren.

Sally grew up in central Vermont and graduated from Twinfield Union High School in Marshfield, Vermont, in 1974. She worked for the state of Vermont in various roles throughout her career.

Sally enjoyed arts and crafts of all kinds from quilting and crocheting to writing poetry. She also had a deep appreciation for nature, especially flowers, birds, and fishing. Most of all, Sally lived to spend time with her family where they exchanged humor and sharp wit.

Sallyís celebration of life memorial service will be held Monday, October 15, at 11:00 am in the Old Brick Church (55 Vermont 14, East Montpelier, VT 05651). A reception will immediately follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to The Vermont Respite House (http://www.vnacares.org/health-care-services/end-of-life-care/vermont-respite-house/) which provided wonderful, loving care to Sally in the last weeks of her amazing life.
