WATERBURY — Musicians Grace Potter and Michael Franti are teaming with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters for live performances to raise awareness about fair trade.

The company is mounting a campaign to let the public know what fair trade is about. It includes a chance to win a trip to Costa Rica.

Fair trade is where fair prices are paid to producers in developing countries.

Potter and Franti will perform live streaming concerts that can be seen on the coffee company’s Facebook page.

Potter will perform at Joe’s Pub in New York City tonight at 9 p.m. Franti will perform in Los Angeles on Oct. 24 at 11 p.m. at 7111 Melrose Ave.
