JOHNSON — A Johnson State College study on laughing babies will be featured on the PBS show “NOVA.”

The show, “What Makes Us Human,” will air Wednesday at 10 p.m.

The study looked at how infants develop a sense of humor. Behavioral sciences professor Gina Mireault recently received continued funding from the Vermont Genetics Network, as well as an award from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development to support her work investigating the development of humor in babies.
