Top Vt. GOP candidates want wind moratoriumOctober 09,2012
BURLINGTON — The Republicans seeking Vermont’s two top state offices both support a moratorium on development of large-scale wind towers on Vermont mountaintops.
Mountaintop wind has emerged as an issue this election season.
Democratic Gov. Peter Shumlin said he opposes a moratorium on wind power development. The same is true of Cassandra Gekas, the Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor.
Both Republican gubernatorial candidate Randy Brock and Lt. Gov.
