WILLIAMSTOWN — The funeral service for Shirley June Cassani, 77, was held Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home in Barre. She died Sept. 21, 2012, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.

The Rev. Daniel Lokanga, parochial vicar at St. Monica Catholic Church, led the service and the congregation in the hymns and was assisted by soloist Liane Martinelli.

A Scripture reading was by daughter Kathryn Tremblay, and Psalm 23 was read by friend Michelle Burrington.

After the service, family and friends gathered at the home of daughter and son-in-law Melanie and David Ross in South Barre for a time of sharing and refreshments.
