    CALAIS — Jennie M. Clark, formerly of West County Road in Maple Corner, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at the age of 90.

    She was born Sept. 6, 1922, the daughter of Harold M. Clark and Abbie (Arbuckle) Clark of East Montpelier.

    She graduated from Montpelier High School and attended Northeastern College in Boston, Mass. Early in her career, she was employed in data processing and accounting in Boston. In 1952, she moved to Atlanta, Ga., where she enjoyed a 25-year career with Boykin Tool & Supply Company. Having an artistic talent, Jennie also created a line of children’s rag dolls and stuffed animals that were marketed by Neiman Marcus of Dallas, Texas.

    In 1988, she retired and moved to Maple Corner, where she was an active member of the Old Brick Church of East Montpelier. Since 2008, she has resided at Woodridge Nursing Home in Berlin.

    Jennie is survived by two sisters, Marjorie Page of Bennington and Diane Nichols of Keene, N.H.; and two brothers, Douglas B. Clark of Chebeague Island, Maine and David Clark of Huntington. She is also survived by her great friend, Barbara C. Greve, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, O. Richard Clark and Paul Clark.

    There will be a graveside service for the family at Robinson Cemetery in Calais at 1 p.m., Sunday Sept. 23. A memorial service will follow at Woodridge Nursing Home, in Berlin, at 2 p.m.
