Forget Fox
Those of you who did not get to see the Democratic convention missed some incredible speeches. They were both informative and inspiring. The electricity and enthusiasm in the convention hall was incredible. When I say “Those who did not get to see…,” I include those who relied on Fox News for their convention coverage.
While I usually watch CNN, PBS, and MSNBC, I frequently switched to Fox, just to see how they were covering the event. I fully expected, and did not begrudge them their conservative commentary. But what I did find upsetting was their decision to omit most of the speeches, and instead replace it with their anti-Obama rhetoric, most of which was based on distortions, half truths, and misinterpretations of the facts.
I can only say that those of you who have not made up your mind on how you are going to vote and need more information, I would advise you not to rely on Fox News, unless all you want is opinion.
